I was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado and am the youngest of three kids. I attended the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. I took some time off to work in my parents business in Estes Park. This led to an opportunity to work as a dental assistant for four years. I returned to school and graduated in 1986 from UC HSC with a bachelors degree in dental hygiene.

I've been with Dr. Plous' office since 1992. I have enjoyed being with a team that is professional, friendly, supportive, and caring with high ethics, and standards. I feel like I have a second family since I started working here.

Currently I am living in Keenesburg with my significant other, four dogs, and several horses and cows. My interests include raising horses, trail riding, team roping, and living the country life. Overall I enjoy the love of my family, the company of good friends, having good health, and having the time to do it.


  Maryanne Imig - Expanded Duty Dental Assistant 

Many, many years ago, I was born in Bronx, New York. My family moved to Colorado when I was eight years old. I attended private school through high school and then went on to college. I completed an associate degree program in health sciences in 1981.

I began working with Dr. Plous in November of 1982 and have played his strait man or woman ever since. Dr. Adler joined us in 2001 and our family grew. I call it a family because the way we treat each other is the way we treat our patients. I enjoy dentistry because it is very detailed and I find that a challenge. Both Dr. Plous and Dr. Adler have very high expectations of themselves as well as their staff and that keeps us all on our toes.

I married in 1984 and have two daughters. Meghan who will attend C.S.U. this fall and Maricathryn a.k.a. "Kit", who will attend Standley Lake High School. I will have two freshman! In my free time I enjoy interior design, faux painting and I do some free lance work on my days off. I also enjoy working out, running, and spending time with my husband Michael.


  Connie Jones - Office Manager

A native of Fort Lauderdale Flordia, I attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.  I fell in love with the Rockies after a ski trip in the early 70's.  My family and I moved to Colorado a year later.  We love the mountains, weather, hiking, camping and boating.

 

I began working with Dr. Plous the winter of 1977.  During my years with this practice, I have served in many different capacities.  I evolved to the Office Manager level I now occupy.  I always enjoyed working for a dentist who is not only exceptionally skilled, but also passionate about his work.  He truly exemplifies the best of his field.  The addition of Dr. Adler in 2002 is no exception.  We are so fortunate to find a younger version of Dr. Plous!  I feel very blesses to be a part of this amazing practice!

 

I met my husband through this practice and both my adult son and daughter have thrived under Dr. Plous' excellent care.  In my free time I enjoy spending as much time as possible being a Grandmother to my daughter triplets.  They keep us very busy.  I also enjoy running, hiking, camping and gardening or anything involving the outdoors.


  Laura Lee March - Expanded Duty Dental Assistant

My sparetime is mostly absorbed by providing meals, transportation, maid service, "insufficient" entertainment, and endless funds to an eight year old boy named Nicholas, who in that very rare and treasured moment reaches for me with a Big Bear Hug and those words "I Love You Mommy", which makes it all worth while...

When I can break free from home maintenance, i enjoy being outdoors, I love sports, I like to cook (I think), read, and listen to music. I really enjoy a good conversation whether it be intellectual or humerous. I enjoy one on one interaction with people and a good laugh.


  Amber Maynes - Business Assistant

I am a native to Colorado and have lived in Lakewood most of my life. I started with the office in the summer of 2004.  I love working here because we all work so well together, and think of each other as family.

I have been married to my husband, Lonnie, since 2004. We have a daughter named Bailey, who is the center of our world. We also have two Pug dogs, Newman and Sampson. In my free time I love traveling and being with my family.


  Kelly Capansky - Hygienist

 

I grew up in Northern Colorado and have now lived in Denver since October 2006.  I went to hygiene school in Sheridan, WY, where I met my husband Jeremy.  We were married on August 19, 2006.  I love my job as a dental hygienist, and I couldn't have asked for a better office to work for.  I really feel lucky to be surronded by such wonderful people each and everyday.

  Pat Nekolny R.D.H. - Hygienist

I was born and raised on the south side of Chicago, I moved to Colorado in the early 1980's.

I have spent the last thirty five years in dentistry, and the last twelve years with Dr. Plous and now Dr. Adler practicing dental hygiene. Working at this office has been the most satisfying, the most fun, and the most challenging position I've held. It's exciting to see so many of the advances in dental treatment and patient comfort being implemented in our office.

I enjoy hiking, snow skiing, scuba diving, camping, and traveling with my husband of thirty seven years, George. We have a dog and two cats.


  Jill Reichard - Business Assistant

I was born in Illinois and moved to Denver when I was eleven.

I have eleven years of "ortho" experience.

I have been married to my husband Jim for twenty one years. Jim has been a firefighter for Arvada for twelve years. We have a son, Preston, who attends Garden City Community College in Kansas. He plays baseball and is a pitcher. My hobbies are exercising, weight lifting, hiking, gardening, and playing golf.


  Candice Talbot - Expanded Duty Dental Assistant

I am originally from New York.

I came to this office as a temporary in 1987, but now I am a permanent member of the group. I refuse to work elsewhere, because the staff and patients are the best!

I am married and have one son and two grandchildren. I love camping, hunting, fishing, doing photography, and traveling abroad.


  Andrea Turner - Dental Assistant and Sterilization Technician

I moved to Denver in late 1999.  I am orginally from Casper, WY where I lived until I graduated high school.  I married my husband Clint in October 2004 and we had our first son, born in 2006.  We spend a lot of time outside in our garden and enjoying the outdoors.  I love using my creative side by experimenting with make up and interior design.

I have been in the dental field since August of 2002.  This was the first office I had ever worked in and it will be the last.  There is not an office out there that compates to us.  From the people that work here, to the comfort and accommodations we provide to the level of skill of everyone that works here.  We are the total package.
